So said Madonna in her hit, Vogue. And so goes my new mantra. My quest for the coming spring and summer season will be to appreciate the nuances of life in the quiet small town that I call home. In the past I've wasted much of my life bemoaning the fact that I don't live elsewhere.
But what about the beauty of where I am? One of Canada's best craft stores is steps away from my house. My town's downtown has a lovely old-fashioned charm. I think every other shop is a cafe...
I am single and completely unfettered. I'm free to write and create to my heart's content. I have a guitar, and books, books, books.
Mmmmmmmm...
I'd better enjoy this time while it's mine.
